Ontario Personal Injury Law Firm Greg Monforton & Partners is Sponsoring a “Gold” Bowling Lane for the Fourth Annual Windsor Lawyers Feed the Hungry Bowl-a-Thon
WINDSOR, Ont. (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Greg Monforton & Partners law firm is sponsoring a “gold” lane and 44 bowlers following a $500 donation to benefit the Law Society Foundation at the annual Windsor Lawyers Feed the Hungry Bowl-a-Thon on Saturday April 26, 2014 in Windsor, Ontario.
Dina Mejalli, a senior associate at the firm, is a committee member of the program, which is dedicated to providing meals to those in need.
“As volunteers, our role is to ensure that those in need have access to a good meal or food program. This organization is on the ground, doing its best to make a difference in the day-to-day lives of Windsor residents ... we just want to do what we can to help out,” said Mejalli.
Mejalli practices plaintiff personal injury law and represents clients who have been injured in motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice and slip and falls. She is involved in a number of community organizations and currently supervises law students volunteering with Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women through Pro Bono Students Canada.
The Law Society Foundation is a registered charity whose objective is to relieve poverty by providing meals to those in need. Meals are provided twice a month at The Downtown Mission as well as to needy children attending school in the nearby area.
Entrance into the event is $10 and includes two games of bowling and shoe rental. Lane sponsorships, referred to as bronze, silver, gold or platinum, are also available for organizations or individuals. The cost of sponsorship ranges between $100 and $5,000.
