Open House Event Planned for SWS Environmental Services’ New Chattanooga, TN Service Center
Chattanooga, Tennessee (PRWEB) April 14, 2015 -- SWS Environmental Services (SWSES) will be hosting an open house event on April 29th, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM locally. The newest location to open is located at 4131 S. Creek Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee and serves the local area, surrounding counties and northern Georgia.
The Chamber of Commerce will be leading a ribbon cutting ceremony and SWSES operations personnel will be conducting a confined space entry demonstration, showcasing emergency response and industrial services equipment, and discussing a variety of topics including spill response, waste disposal, industrial cleaning, site remediation, and other environmental services. The event is aimed at demonstrating the depth and breadth of environmental services available to clientele both locally and nationwide.
Jim Nardozzi, Vice President of Operations, said “I am excited to announce our expansion and opening of a new location in Chattanooga. If you draw a line on a map connecting our Nashville, Decatur, Birmingham, Atlanta and Knoxville offices, you see a big gap right in the middle – that’s Chattanooga. The addition of this new service center will position us to effectively service the southeast quadrant of Tennessee and further support our other locations in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.”
The newest location is a step forward in creating more jobs and opportunities for the local area. SWSES is connecting with the local community by partnering with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank for the event to help replenish local food banks for the city of Chattanooga. They will be on-site and are in need of items such as: peanut butter, soups, flour, grits, cornmeal, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta, canned meats, dry beans, oats and fruit and vegetable juices. Monetary donations will be accepted on-site in lieu of food products. For all those who attend, there will be a raffle for giveaways and a BBQ lunch will be provided.
