OpenAire Selected to Join Ontario’s Fifth Trade Mission to China
Oakville, ON (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- OpenAire Inc., the world’s premier designer, manufacturer and installer of custom retractable roof enclosures and operable skylights, will travel to China as part of the Ontario Construction Products Mission later this month. At the invitation of the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service and the Ontario International Marketing Centres in China, OpenAire will join a select group of eight Ontario-based companies with leading technology to participate in this year’s Ontario pavilion at Expo Build 2014 in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) in China.
As part of this trade mission, OpenAire president Mark Albertine will explore market opportunities and business partnerships among China’s key decision-makers, presenting how OpenAire’s energy efficient retractable roofs and large-span operable skylights can be integrated into shopping/retail, waterparks and community facilities. As a representative for the province’s green building sector, Albertine will highlight Ontario’s expertise and innovation in clean technology by participating in seminars, one-on-one meetings, networking events and site visits. OpenAire structures contribute points for both LEED for New Construction and LEED for Core and Shell rating systems.

Ontario’s trade mission to China will take place from March 24 to April 3, 2014. Expo Build China is a leading exhibition for premium building materials. China is the world's largest producer and consumer of building materials as well as a key new market for sustainable building. Expo Build will showcase the full range of the construction industry to 400 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors. China is Ontario’s and Canada’s second-largest trading partner in the world.
