OpenStack Community Elects New Board of Directors
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) January 15, 2016 -- The OpenStack community has selected its 2016 Board of Directors, which concluded today with the election of eight Individual Directors by Individual Members of the Foundation. The Board provides strategic and financial oversight of Foundation resources and staff.
Gold Members of the Foundation voted last week to elect eight Directors among their class, and eight Platinum Members each appoint a Platinum Director, for a total of 24 Board Members. The resulting 2016 Directors come from 17 different organizations and nine countries. The elected and appointed directors will be seated at 1:00 pm PST on January 26.
