Operation Homefront & Dollar Tree Launch Back-To-School Brigade for Military Children
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) July 07, 2016 -- Operation Homefront would like to recognize Dollar Tree Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR) and its customers for their support in purchasing and collecting $91 million in supplies forOperation Homefront programs to build strong, stable, and secure military families. The benchmark has been reached as Operation Homefront and Dollar Tree Inc. have joined forces for an eighth time to collect school supplies for military children through the national nonprofit’s Back-to-School BrigadeTM.
The supplies can be purchased starting today by customers at the nearly 6,000 Dollar Tree stores nationwide and placed in collection boxes in each store.
The Back-to-School BrigadeTM program is a nationwide campaign by Operation Homefront and Dollar Tree. This is the eighth year that Dollar Tree has partnered with Operation Homefront to provide school supplies to military children. Last year, Dollar Tree patrons purchased more than $5.6 million dollars of school supplies.

Dollar Tree stores will collect supplies from July 5 through August 11.
