Opulence and Breaking the Cycle, Inc.'s Partnership Provides Returning Citizens and Veterans Opportunities for Successful Reintegration to Society
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- The Opulence Enterprises, LLC (Opulence) and Breaking The Cycle, Inc. (BTC) alliance helped raise awarness to companies in Atlanta about the direct benefits for hiring ex offenders and the residual impact the approach can have on the overall economy. Opulence and BTC helps Veterans and Returning Citizens become productive members of society through hosting job and resource fairs, education and awareness sessions, and providing direct employment, educational, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
To meet the established goals BTC partners with several key community organizations both in Atlanta and Cleveland. "One of the many hurdles a returning citizen has when attempting to reintegrate into society is the ability to obtain a banking account. Breaking the Cycle was fortunate to build a relationship with Fifth Third personal banker, Christopher Fletcher, who assisted attendees with opening a second chance banking account", said Mike Jones, Founder of Breaking the Cycle, Inc. "Being a part of a developing national coalition of professionals dedicated to improving the lives of others while helping to boost our economy is something we are proud of", says Opulence CEO and Chief Counsel, LeTonya F. Moore, Esq.
In Cleveland, BTC partners with Catholic Charities, CRC, Department of Job and Family Services, CEOGC and Opulence Enterprises Atlanta (Atlanta, GA) to expand their reach in the Cleveland metro area. BTC developed this conglomerate and are hosting three community networking events geared toward helping companies improve their bottom line; formulate meaningful relationships; and provide an opportunity to create life changing impact to the lives of Veterans and the Returning Citizens. The events are open to the public. BTC and others are encouraging businesses, non-profits, and other community resources to attend.
On Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 10:00am-2:00pm, the conglomerate hosts the 1st Annual Community Resource Fair at St. Philip Neri Family Center 799 East 82nd Street (off of St. Clair Avenue).
