Now extending that same service beyond heating and air conditioning, Service Champions and its technicians work to support both Walk for Wishes fundraisers and the Foundation’s charitable cause.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation works to help children between the ages to two-and-a-half and 18 with medical conditions that threaten their lives. These children oftentimes are unable to lead a “normal life,” which impacts not only their physical and mental health, quality of life but family dynamics as well. The Foundation is diligent to grant as many wishes as possible for the children in need and their families. Make-A-Wish candidates make their wish depending on their interests, dreams and goals and the Foundation strives to fulfill that experience for them. Parents of children who’ve received granted wishes remark that the experience made positive changes in their children’s confidence to battle their medical conditions while nurses and doctors reported a boost in the children’s physical health as well.
According to its official site, the Orange County and Inland Empire chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted over 4,750 wishes since its conception in 1983. The families of the children whose lives are in fatal conditions depend on Make a Wish Foundation to fulfill the hope of their children. Though over 4,000 children have received their wishes, many more are left unfulfilled. Even with over 25,000 active volunteers and staff members, more and more families are calling upon the Foundation for help. To aid Make a Wish Foundation and the children and families who depend on it, Service Champions has provided a contribution to fulfill more wishes this year than ever before.
Orange County air conditioning company, Service Champions, is a presenting sponsor for the events. The first event of this chapter is in Riverside County on April 12, 2014 at Castle Park. The Orange County Walk for Wishes will be held on April 26, 2014 at the Great Park in Irvine.
