Orange Fab Taps 6 Top Startups in Connected Devices, Payment Systems, Enterprise, Consumer App & 360 video for Season 7 of 12-Week Accelerator Program
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2016 -- Orange Fab, the startup accelerator of Orange Silicon Valley (OSV), has announced the startups participating in Season 7 of its popular program. Selected from hundreds of applicants, this season's startups feature the latest advancements in connected devices, VR/360 video, payment systems, enterprise, and consumer IoT.
During the course of the 12-week program, the companies gain access to Orange Silicon Valley’s vast network of resources and international partners such as Hilton, Visa, Moët Hennessy, and other top global brands.

Season 7 startups are:
• Ava - App-based speech recognition empowering 24/7 accessible conversations between deaf/hard-of-hearing and hearing people.
• Flow Labs - Granular water insights for building managers via retrofit smart water meters.
• Pie - The best way to create and discover 360 video.
• Pixlee - Leading visual marketing platform that helps brands market and sell with real customer photos.
• Sutro - Smart-water chemistry monitor.
• Token - Modern payment infrastructure for the digital era.
This season, Orange Fab welcomes key influencers and serial entrepreneurs to an active portfolio of 40+ startups. The team behind Token consists of bank, payment and security experts from Google, Barclays, Citibank, MIT, Stanford, Amazon, Facebook, McKinsey and BancTec. Token’s CTO, Yobie Benjamin, was formerly the Global CTO at Citigroup. Current CEO, Steve Kirsch, previously founded InfoSeek (NYSE: SEEK) and Frame (acquired by Adobe for $500M). Industry expert Ray Curtis has joined Sutro to help guide its ambitious growth trajectory. Flow Labs made their debut at the 2016 Launch Festival, and continues to make waves in sustainability. Ava has been empowering thousands of deaf and hard of hearing individuals and won the 2015 UC Berkeley Startup Competition. In June, Pixlee released a Social CRM for digital marketers including a pilot with Charlotte Russe, a top fashion brand. Pie’s young founders, who first met at Harvard in 2014, are gearing up to launch the first 360 video platform aimed at the Snapchat generation on iOS later this year.

Orange Fab US is currently considering applicants for Season 8. The early application period will close September 15th, 2016 and Season 8 will take place January - March 2017. Any startup company incorporated in the United States with an existing product or an advanced beta version can apply via the new open enrollment process on the Orange Fab website.
