OrcaTec Echo Strengthens Processing From The Cloud

OrcaTec Echo™, the company’s Electronic Repository Management System, can now capture data for a company from its employees’ use of Google applications, including Gmail, GoogleDocs, and GoogleTalk; Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Yammer; and other cloud-based enterprise tools. These cloud tools, like the traditional archives that they replace, he noted, are great for storage but, despite marketing messages to the contrary, are not good at making data findable.
