ORIGO Education Appoints New United States Executive Leadership to Spearhead Global Expansion
ST. CHARLES, Mo. (PRWEB) September 26, 2016 -- ORIGO Education, a leading education provider of both core and targeted mathematics resources for grades PreK–6, announces new leadership as the company continues to expand its global growth and sales opportunities in the U.S. education market. The Australian company recently appointed several U.S.-based leaders to key positions, including Barbara diSioudi as chief executive officer, Brian De Moss as the manager of U.S. sales, and Kim Sadler as the head of U.S. product management and marketing.
“Over the last 20 years, ORIGO Education has established itself as a leader in developing proven mathematics instruction tools,” said James Burnett, president and co-founder of ORIGO Education. “With the additions of Barbara, Brian and Kim to our team, I am confident that they will help continue to support teacher and student success around the world.”
diSioudi joined ORIGO Education in November 2015 as publisher, bringing her expertise in implementing new tools and processes to streamline and accelerate development. Before joining ORIGO Education, her work in education publishing included leading product development for publishers ETA hand2mind and Pearson. A former educator, diSioudi started her career teaching middle school science classes and, later, college-level biology. In her new role as CEO, diSioudi will help transform the company’s long-term strategy and vision into greater companywide results.
“ORIGO Education has the potential to significantly and positively affect global mathematics education,” said diSioudi. “I’m honored by the opportunity to lead the company into an exciting new chapter. We share a passion for making learning meaningful, enjoyable and achievable for all.”
Brian De Moss joins ORIGO Education with more than 15 years experience driving successful national and regional campaigns at HMH, Delta Education and Carolina Biological. In his role, De Moss will build a talented sales management, sales representation and learning services team that focuses on the needs of today’s educators.
Kim Sadler joins ORIGO Education with extensive experience leading math product development and marketing efforts for elementary and secondary programs for multiple education publishers. At HMH, she managed the company’s product management relationship of Math in Focus: Singapore Math with Singapore publisher Marshall Cavendish. In addition, Sadler has held product management positions at HMH, Carnegie Learning and at The College Board-SpringBoard division. As the national product management and marketing leader for ORIGO Education, she will manage marketing and campaign strategies, ensure consistent brand identity and messaging, and assist in launching and developing new products and promotions throughout the U.S.
“ORIGO Education has a solid reputation in this market,” said Sadler. “I’m thrilled to be joining the team with the opportunity to strengthen the brand and increase exposure for a company which, at its core, is determined to make a positive contribution in mathematics education for students at all learning levels.”
