Orlando Attorney Daniel E. Smith II Joins Dellecker Wilson King McKenna Ruffier and Sos
Orlando, Florida: (PRWEB) May 15, 2017 -- The Orlando law firm of Dellecker Wilson King McKenna Ruffier and Sos is pleased to welcome attorney Daniel Smith II as an associate. Smith has deep roots in Florida, having grown up in the state. He attended the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida - Levin College of Law. He most recently served as a partner at The Coye Law Firm, also in Orlando.
Advocating From A Young Age
Smith credits his personality, outlook on life, and childhood with leading him on the path to become a personal injury attorney. From a young age, he was a tireless advocate for others, but it was not until he started a college internship at a law firm that he realized such advocacy could be put to good use as a personal injury attorney.
Today, he works closely with his clients to achieve shared goals and outcomes, often remaining friends with them long after their case has been decided.
A People Person
If you were to ask Smith what most contributed to his becoming an attorney, he'd tell you it was the people he met along the way. He nurtured good relationship with his classmates, law school colleagues, fellow attorneys, and now, clients. His outgoing and friendly nature made it possible for him to learn more about and appreciate different types of lawyers and legal career options. But it was his study of trial practice and his involvement in Gator Team Child Law Clinic that solidified his desire to be a trial lawyer.
Smith takes special pride in cases that have been referred to him by other attorneys. His dedication to being part of a team of attorneys advocating for their clients’ rights and best interests have led to some of his most rewarding cases. He still tries to meet with two to three lawyers in different practice areas each week to learn about what they do and who they are as people.
Community Minded
Smith is deeply involved in his local community, volunteering at his son's school, with a local wrestling team, as a guardian ad litem in Orange County, and as a member of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
