Orlando Loading Dock Worker & Connecticut School of Broadcasting Student, Gets Christmas Wish Granted Early!
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) December 14, 2015 -- A recent Connecticut School of Broadcasting/Orlando graduate won't be working his day job on the loading docks at JC Penny this holiday season. Josh Lyons was just hired as a Production Assistant/Board Operator/Voiceover Talent for 103.1 The Wolf, a top country station in Orlando.
Connecticut School of Broadcasting/Orlando’s Director Shayna King isn’t surprised by Josh’s quick success story at all, “Josh is a really great example of what we call "P.A.W" (Passion, Attitude & Work Ethic). He was the first person to arrive each day and the last to leave. He hungered to learn every aspect of broadcasting and always had a big smile on his face. Josh was born to be in radio - he just needed someone to give him a chance, teach him the skills, and guide him to the opportunity.” However Josh himself is still somewhat in awe, “I didn't think I'd be at a radio station - let alone this quickly - so it's a surreal moment when I'm realizing I'm doing what I always wanted to do. I hope one day to give back and return to the Connecticut School of Broadcasting to teach a few classes to students who are like I was, and want to be where I am lucky enough to be now."
