ORPHANetwork Announces New Chief Operating Officer, COO
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (PRWEB) June 27, 2018 -- ORPHANetwork, a non profit serving 20,000 vulnerable and orphaned children in Nicaragua, today announced the appointment of Ted Draper as its first Chief Operating Officer. Draper begins work at the Virginia Beach headquarters on August 1st and will report to CEO Dick Anderson.
In this new role, Draper will focus on advancing the funding model of the ministry by identifying and cultivating relationships with new major investors, working with corporations to increase Gift-in-Kind revenue and by collaborating with United States churches to support the organization's programs in Nicaragua. In addition to these fundraising roles, Draper will lead the Marketing, Communications and Human Relations Departments for the organization.

Prior to joining ORPHANetwork, Draper worked for Avant Ministries (Kansas City, MO) as US Director, where he annually raised over $1million dollars from individuals, corporations and foundations. In his ten year career with Avant he also served as Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Development as well as Director of Public Relations & Media.
