Orthopedic ONE Names New Therapy Services Director
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) May 09, 2014 -- Orthopedic ONE is pleased to name Geoff Omiatek as director of therapy services. In his role, he will lead and develop the practice’s outpatient therapy department, including more than 100 therapists in seven central Ohio locations.
Orthopedic ONE is the largest physician-owned orthopedic practice in Ohio with more than 50 orthopedic physicians and surgeons and nearly 500 caring associates. The practice is the result of an October 1, 2013, merger between Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence and The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute.

Omiatek previously served as director of therapy services at Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence, where he developed and launched several new service lines, such as an athletic training community outreach program, sports injury prevention seminars and a custom orthotic program.
He is a graduate of the physical therapy, athletic training and allied health management programs at The Ohio State University, and a board-certified sports clinical specialist.
A former varsity athlete at The Ohio State University, Omiatek remains active within the central Ohio sports medicine environment as a rehabilitation consultant for various professional and collegiate teams.
In 2009, he received Business First’s Health Care Hero award in recognition of his role in the development of Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence’s Biggest Winner Youth Camp program.
