Tray lidding solutions – the OTS family
The OTS-10 table top tray sealer operates at up to 17 trays per minute. The two units at Pack Expo both demonstrate modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and vacuum skin pack (VSP) capabilities, which produce long shelf life for case ready pork, chicken, beef, and other fresh foods. Designed to meet the production requirements of small to medium sized processors, the OTS-10 tray sealer is also ideal for larger processers involved in test marketing products and/or for laboratory production of sample packaging.
Ossid also offers the single-lane OTS-32 tray sealing machine for mid-range packaging line speeds and the OTS-72 dual-lane machine for higher level production. Like the OTS-10, these units can produce ambient, modified atmosphere, and VSP packaging. An intuitive HMI ensures ease of operation and rapid, tool-free changeover between package sizes. The open stainless-steel frame and other construction aspects are compatible with the harsh environments of poultry and meat packaging facilities.
