Outer Banks Vacation Rental Company Recognized for Outstanding Customer Service
Nags Head, NC (PRWEB) April 28, 2014 -- Resort Realty, an Outer Banks vacation rental and real estate firm, was recently acknowledged by the community for their outstanding customer service when they received the March 2014 OBX Smiles in Action Award.
The nominations and recognition came after the company teamed up with the popular Rachael Ray Show, to help a Glen Allen, Virginia father provide his family with a Nags Head dream vacation. Garth Callaghan, better known as the “Napkin Notes Dad,” has been battling cancer and his story recently gained national recognition. Garth has been writing enough notes for his daughter Emily’s lunchbox to last through her high school graduation.
Resort Realty not only donated a week stay in a Nags Head beach home, but also created the ultimate Nags Head vacation experience, with the generous help of local businesses including Kitty Hawk Kites, Pigman’s BBQ, and Coastal Provisions Market. On February 4th, the Rachael Ray Show presented Garth and his family with the vacation package.
Committee Board Chair Mike Pringle states, “This act of kindness is a perfect example of Outer Banks Smiles in Action.” The OBX Smiles in Action program is an Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce initiative and recognizes acts of kindness and outstanding customer service in the local Outer Banks community. Through printed postcards in local businesses and an online nomination form, the Chamber solicits nominations of those who should be recognized. Submissions are recognized through social media and a monthly winner is chosen by the Outer Banks Hospitality Committee.
