Over 30 Hours of Coding by Each Student So Far this Year
Broomall, PA (PRWEB) December 07, 2015 -- The Grayson School is the first private school in the state of Pennsylvania specifically designed to meet the unique needs of gifted children and their families. The Grayson School is a kindergarten through sixth grade private, non-profit school founded specifically to serve gifted students. Our mission is to offer gifted children an individualized, accelerated education worth of their intellect and their intrinsic desire to learn and think deeply. We strive to be an important resource for the gifted education community in Philadelphia and nationwide. Currently there are 14 students enrolled ranging in age from 5-11 years old in the K-6 school.
Students at Grayson code everyday. Each student has coded for more than 30 hours each since the start of the school year. On December 8th from 9:30-10:30am, The Grayson School will be hosting an Hour of Code event. Students will be teaching their parents how to code during this opportunity to highlight and demonstrate the coding education and skills our students have acquired throughout their daily education.
Participants of any skill level are welcome and encouraged to attend.
