Over 70 Handbags Will be Auctioned at Visiting Nurse Association Health Group’s “Power of the Purse” Fundraiser to Benefit Programs and Services for Children
Red Bank, NJ (PRWEB) April 18, 2014 -- Over 70 handbags have been donated to benefit The Children’s Auxiliary of Visiting Nurse Association Health Group. The “Power of the Purse” Ladies’ Night Out will be held on Thursday May 1st from 6:30pm-10:00pm at the Riverhouse at Rumson Country Club. Chance auction bags include Torregrossa, Longchamp, Coach, Vera Bradley, Tory Burch, Brooks Brothers, J.Crew, Cole Haan, Kate Spade, Pour la Victoire, Lilly Pulitzer, J.McLaughlin and Ralph Lauren. Silent auction bags include Tom Ford, Gucci, Tory Burch, Hugo Boss & Coach. Tickets for the event are $125 and include hor d’oeurves, a buffet, and beverages including a signature specialty cocktail.
Proceeds from the evening will benefit VNA Health Group’s programs and services for children who are acutely and chronically ill, have developmental concerns and special needs. The VNA also offers programming to provide parenting education and support for first-time, at-risk expectant mothers.
Dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of children and families through clinical solutions at home and in the community, VNA Health Group services for children include pediatric home health care, infusion therapy, parenting education, Special Child Health Services and Early Intervention programs, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) supplemental nutrition program, home visitation programs including Nurse Family Partnership and Healthy Families, prenatal and postpartum care, school-based services, primary care including immunizations as well as hospice care for children and group counseling for children who have lost a loved one.
