Overland Park-Based Anthem Ventures Announces Kimberly Stern as Editor-In-Chief of KC Magazine
OVERLAND PARK, KAN. (PRWEB) February 25, 2015 -- Don Ransdell, chief executive officer of Anthem Ventures, LLC, today named Kimberly Stern as new editor-in-chief of KC Magazine.

Stern’s byline is a familiar one in Kansas City. A sought-after award-winning food, travel, and lifestyle writer, she has been a regular contributor to KC Magazine; The Kansas City Star; KC At Home; and KANSAS! Magazine, among many other local, regional and national publications and blogs. She can be heard weekly on KCMO 710/103.7 as Chef Jasper Mirabile’s co-host on his popular food show, LIVE! From Jasper’s Kitchen. Stern served as managing editor of 435 South Magazine from 2010 - 2012, where she helped the publication earn Print Magazine of the Year. Stern worked at Meredith Corporation/Better Homes and Gardens in the 1980s, and launched a successful corporate catering business, The Good Eats Catering Company, in Kansas City in 1990, which she sold in 1999. Stern attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where she studied journalism and advertising.
