OW2 Announces the Programme of Its Annual Conference OW2con'13; Open Source Collaborative Innovation, the Way Forward
Paris, France (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- OW2, the global open source community for open source infrastructure software and applications platforms, today announces the programme of its annual conference OW2con'13. “Open Source Collaborative Innovation, The Way Forward”, the theme of OW2con'13, is a testimonial to the role of open source strategies in the IT industry. Increasingly complex and multi-technology innovations require increasingly cooperative approaches between stakeholders of different origins.
Over 40 speakers, all experts will outline the state of the art in areas such as Open Cloud, Data on Cloud and Future Internet. The programme showcases OW2 project success stories with enterprise information systems and new projects added to the code base since last year's conference.
Special guest this year, Anna Nietyksza of the European Economic and Social Committee will introduce the Digital Agenda of the European Union for the upcoming years. Other keynote speakers include Thierry Souche, Orange Labs' Senior VP Products and Services and Shuo Yang, Huawei's Chief Architect of Cloud Services.
New this year, two roundtables. The first will discuss the Benefits and Challenges of Integrating Open Source components and the second Hybrid Clouds: How to Get the Best of Both Worlds?
The first day of the conference is dedicated to collaborative projects meetups: the Open Source Cloudware initiative convention on open cloud with projects OpenCloudware and OCEAN, the CHOReOS workshop, and the RISCOSS convention on managing adoption of open source software.

The event will kick off on November 12 with collaborative project events including the CHOReOS international workshop, the OpenCloudware Annual Conference, the RISCOSS Convention and the OW2 Open Source Cloudware initiative Convention.
