Owner of Robert Stone Law Office, LLC Hosts New Episodes of Hunting and Fishing Television Show
Anchorage, AK (PRWEB) November 24, 2014 -- Rob Stone, the Owner of Robert Stone Law Office, LLC, is also the host of the hunting and fishing TV program Alaska Outdoor Television, which aired earlier this month. Now, his hobby is helping his law firm gain more traction in the community.
"I think what this [TV show] does is it shows people in the community that they have somewhat of a celebrity who happens to be their town’s most dedicated lawyer," says Stone. "People come in to see me in my office and enjoy the fact that their lawyer is the host of a TV show."
Stone co-hosts the show with his 17-year-old son Matthew, who recently returned from a short, goat hunting trip on Kodiak Island. The duo uses their own plane to access remote areas of Alaska, like the Yukon Territory, while a film crew accompanies them. If Stone doesn't personally appear in an episode, he narrates it for the audience.
"Both the filming and the interviewing take place out there on the trips," Stone explains. "In addition to that there are some episodes that I narrate but don’t appear in. We do the narration and voiceovers back in the studio.”
Stone has been the host of the show for seven years, but now, Alaska Outdoor Television is gaining popularity across the country, which in turn helps the Robert Stone Law Office, LLC become more recognizable. The firm receives clients from referrals, but are hoping clients seek them out on their own accord.
"I got into this because the TV producer was looking for a long time Alaskan resident who was a pilot and avid hunter and fisherman," Stone remembers. "Our paths crossed and I've been doing this ever since."
As admirable of an outdoorsman as Stone may be, his skills as an attorney are even more impressive. Though his firm is in its 17th year, he's been practicing law for a solid 20 years. Before owning the firm, Stone worked as a clerk in the U.S. district court of Alaska from 1994 to 1996. Then, between 2008 and 2010, he was the president of the trial lawyers of Alaska.
