Owner of The Healthy Protocol, LLC Encourages Others to Get Involved This Holiday Season
Lakeway, TX (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- As companies and families start considering how they will be donating their time and resources during this year’s holiday season Blake Sawyer, owner of The Healthy Protocol, is encouraging people to find their cause and get involved with a charity or organization that’s important to them.
After moving to La Cumbre, Cordoba, Argentina in 1995 Mr. Sawyer became involved with the orphanage by his home. Now 18 years later he and his family are still very active in supporting the orphanage with natural medical supplies, food, clothes, funds as well as volunteering their time. Their generosity has made a huge impact on the quality of life for the children, which range in age from 4 to 19 years old.
“It is my passion. I love helping the poor and needy, especially those that are sick,” said Mr. Sawyer when asked why he has continued to support the charity nearly 15 years after moving away from Argentina. “I go every month between August and May, only skipping June and July when I spend time with family in the States.”
The Sawyer family also supports a youth group in La Cumbre. Through their financial support 45 disadvantaged youth now have access to food, clothing and a meeting space for weekly gatherings.
Mr. Sawyer and his team at The Healthy Protocol, LLC work everyday to improve people’s health through their work, so it is only natural that their philanthropic efforts would follow suit. After nearly two decades of volunteerism Mr. Blake says the most important thing for businesses and individuals is to find something they are passionate about being involved in.
