Oxnard Dentist’s Teaching Academy in India Starts This Month
Woodland Hills, CA (PRWEB) April 03, 2014 -- The Anacapa Dental Art Institute of Teaching Excellence will provide educational opportunities for dentists in India and launch this month. Dr. Saj Jivraj, founder of the Anacapa Dental Art Institute in Oxnard and Woodland Hills, Calif., is partnering with leading dentists in India to help create the academy.
Dr. Jivraj, along with Nobel Biocare and the Rajan Dental Institute, has formed a foundation to give patients with little or no resources state-of-the-art dental treatments in India. The Anacapa Dental Art Institute of Teaching Excellence will educate fellow dentists there in cutting-edge full mouth rehabilitation on implants, such as all in 4 dental implants.
“There is a lot of need for top dental practitioners in India, and I am glad to be able to provide my colleagues there with the information to help them better help patients,” Dr. Jivraj said.
Dr. Jivraj, an award-winning prosthodontist and former chairman of University of Southern California School of Dentistry’s Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry section. He specializes in implant, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. He is an international lecturer and writer with more than two dozen articles on implant and restorative dentistry for the British Dental Association.
Dr. Jivraj’s partner at the Anacapa Dental Art Institute is Dr. Mamaly Reshad. Dr. Reshad also is a former chairman of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry’s Fixed Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry section. Dr. Reshad has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and textbooks on prosthodontics, aesthetics and implant dentistry. Dr. Reshad, who also is an international lecturer, is on the editorial board for the highly prestigious Journal of Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Reshad is an honorary clinical teacher at the Eastman Dental Institute and a member of the faculty of the Global Institute for Dental Education.
