Package Theft Prevention Device Invented (FRO-409)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 19, 2016 -- With the prevalence and ease of online shopping, delivery companies have seen a rise in package deliveries over the past many years. With this increase in package deliveries also comes an increase in package thefts.
A police officer from Madera, Calif., has seen package theft first hand. "In my line of work, I hear about package thefts at residences quite often," said the officer. Because of that, he decided to invent SPS, an aesthetic way to secure delivered packages at residences or businesses. Delivery personnel can place a package directly into SPS where it will secure the package until the recipient is available to retrieve it.
SPS will provide peace of mind to individuals who are expecting packages but are not available at the time to delivery. Additionally, it will save delivery companies the hassle of having to return to the same address multiple times to ensure safe delivery.
