Palm Cay Marina Opens to the Public
Nassau, Bahamas (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- Palm Cay announced today the opening of its new 194-slip, deep water, full-service public marina. The marina, located within Palm Cay’s luxurious 69-acre residential community, is on New Providence’s southeastern shore in Nassau, Bahamas.
"We’re excited to be able to offer the marina and all of its amenities to the public," said Palm Cay Harbormaster, Brooks Russell. “Boaters will appreciate the services offered at the marina, along with its location to some great fishing.”
The marina accommodates boats up to 110 feet. Boaters docking at the Palm Cay Marina will enjoy the various amenities it offers including a fueling station, pump out system, and a fish cleaning station. Ice and bait is also available for purchase. The marina is available for both short term and long term docking. Short term docking rates are $1.00 per foot per day. Long term docking rates vary and are available by contacting Palm Cay directly.
Outside of the marina’s amenities, Palm Cay offers various properties for sale or rent, a restaurant, concierge service, 24-hour security with a seagate, and a grocery store nearby. Boaters docking at the marina can also enjoy pool and beach access.
For those that enjoy the world-class fishing that the Bahamas offers, Palm Cay Marina is located close to some of best areas for mahi, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, marlin, and red snapper. Fishermen can enjoy fishing at Rose Island (12 miles), Sail Rock Exuma (30 miles), Andros Buoy (35 miles), and Dutch Bars, Eleuthera (50 miles).
In September 2014, the Palm Cay Marina will add a boat ramp for those not looking to dock their boats, but simply enjoying a day out on the water.
