PALMco Energy Gives $4,000 to Feeding South Florida Food Bank to aid Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts
Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) September 28, 2017 -- PALMco Energy, a privately-owned energy supply company, today announced a donation of $4,000 to the Feeding South Florida Food Bank to support Hurricane Irma relief efforts. PALMco Energy previously contributed $2,500 to the Houston Food Bank, and established a $1,500 matching fund mobilecause site.
“Our hearts go out to every individual and family affected by the impact of Hurricane Irma,” said Robert Palmese, President of PALMco Energy. “In the wake of Superstorm Sandy in 2012, our home city was saved by the kind and noble efforts of people all across the country and around the world. That is why we are calling on all our customers, neighbors, and communities to join our effort and give what you can to help ongoing recovery and relief efforts in areas affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.”
Based in Brooklyn, NY, PALMco Energy, and many of the energy company’s customers, were impacted by the devastation of Super Storm Sandy in 2012. PALMco recognizes that the severity of Hurricane Irma requires that all Americans come together to provide necessary relief to impacted families, support ongoing first responder recovery and relief efforts, and to begin to rebuild in the wake of the disaster.
In addition to the company’s donation to the Feeding South Florida Food Bank, PALMco Energy’s mobilecause site will continue to match dollar-for-dollar, up to a total of $1,500, all contributions to the Houston Food Bank.
