Palo Alto Software to Offer LivePlan Course and Certification
Eugene, Ore. (PRWEB) November 11, 2014 -- Palo Alto Software will now offer a certification course for accountants who wish to use LivePlan to help clients forecast and track their business’s financial health.
Those who complete the course will earn a Liveplan Expert Advisor certification and marketing assistance from the software company. Accountants interested in the course must first watch a LivePlan online demo, map at least one QuickBooks or Xero account and create a budget and forecast within LivePlan. Accountants are able to connect their own company file to qualify.
Palo Alto Software CEO Sabrina Parsons will teach the 90-minute online course. After the training session, participants will immediately receive a 20-question final exam. Accountants must correctly answer 85 percent of questions to pass.
Those who pass the final exam will receive 1.5 CPE credits, a welcome kit that includes a printed certificate of completion, 25 copies of a client-facing brochure and other marketing materials to help communicate the value of their LivePlan training to clients. Accountants that are certified LivePlan Expert Advisors and on-board at least three clients will be listed in the “Find a LivePlan Expert Advisor” directory on LivePlan.com and have your practice promoted to over 200,000 LivePlan small business users.
“We’re excited to give accountants an additional opportunity to build value for their services,” said Parsons. “The knowledge they will gain from the course will better prepare them to educate their clients about the benefits of budgeting and forecasting and achieve their business goals in the new year and beyond.”
Those interested can register through their LivePlan.com account. Courses will be held on Dec. 3, Dec. 18, Jan. 7 and Jan. 18. The first 50 certified LivePlan Expert Advisors will receive a special “First 50” badge as well as entry to a raffle for $2,5000 in cash and two free hours of advice from an expert on how to market advisory services to clients.
