Panel Discussion with Cushman & Wakefield Leaders Hosted by CREW New York
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 05, 2015 -- On March 3, CREW New York – New York City’s largest commercial real estate organization for women – hosted a luncheon featuring a panel with Paul Massey and Robert Knakal, formerly of Massey Knakal, and Ron Lo Russo of Cushman & Wakefield. The Cushman & Wakefield leaders discussed recent real estate news regarding the company’s successful acquisition of Massey Knakal, New York’s #1 investment sales firm. The discussion was moderated by Joe Anuta, a real estate reporter with Crain’s New York.

As of December 31, 2014, Massey Knakal, New York City’s most successful building sales firm with an aggregate value of $23 billion, was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm with offices in 58 countries and 16,000 employees. Cushman & Wakefield’s acquisition of Massey Knakal makes it the largest commercial real estate firm in Manhattan, with the most number of offices in the Tri State area.
During the panel discussion, Anuta asked the Cushman & Wakefield leadership rounds of questions regarding their newly configured roles and responsibilities, what the Massey Knakal acquisition accomplished for Cushman & Wakefield, why Massey Knakal chose to join Cushman & Wakefield, and how diversity and technology fit into the growing real estate market. The speakers also detailed some of the many ways Cushman & Wakefield plans on incorporating Massey Knakal’s ideals and leadership methodologies into its global organization.
