Overland Park, KS (PRWEB) September 30, 2015 -- Park Agencies Insurance & Financial Services debuts the new charity campaign in its recognized Community Program in the greater Kansas City area by announcing their intent to direct efforts in raising awareness and funds for Project Walk. Supporting local people dealing with spinal cord injuries and paralysis, donations are being accepted through the campaign’s page at https://www.crowdrise.com/onestepfurtherfrompa/fundraiser/jasonpark1.
A state-of-the-art spinal cord injury recovery center, Project Walk is dedicated to meeting its clients’ recovery goals with the very latest in therapeutic techniques. So much of overcoming these types of injuries comes down to emotional well-being and the support the individual receives, not only from family and friends, but from the community at large. Project Walk is in constant need of both volunteers and monetary support, in order to serve as many local people as currently require their assistance.
“Neighbors helping neighbors is what we’re all about here,” said Jason Park, the agency’s principal. “Making our community better and stronger is our ultimate goal, and getting these people back on their feet so that they may continue as vital members of our community is something that should motivate us all. We can make a brighter future if we all work together.”
Through the agency’s vast network of customers, business partners, staff, friends and family, Park Agencies hopes that the initiative to spread the word about Project Walk will bring awareness to the worthwhile work being done there, the challenges faced by their clients and their need for funds and volunteers. In employing its valuable resources to reach out to the community, Park Agencies have set a fundraising goal of $500. The campaign will be promoted over the course of the next 30-90 days through the agency’s social media channels, email and text message communications, as well as through their monthly magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Kansas City area where the agency currently operates. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to feature all the details of the campaign for Project Walk. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.theparkagencies.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
