ParkiFi Launches Referral Program to Increase its Impact on Downtown Denver Traffic
(PRWEB) November 03, 2016 -- ParkiFi®—a powerful, real-time parking finder and navigation app—today announced the start of a referral program for its mobile device app, which is slated to launch in downtown Denver in mid-November.
Early adopters who sign up for ParkiFi’s referral program will be rewarded with credits towards free parking for every person they refer. To participate, users simply sign up on ParkiFi’s website. Each user will then receive an email with a unique URL to share with friends via email, social media, and text message to encourage them to sign up for the app. Parking reward tiers include $5 for 5 signups, $10 for 10 signups, $25 for 25 signups, and $75 for 75 signups.
The referral program is part of ParkiFi’s commitment to reducing traffic congestion and pollution in popular Denver business districts, where drivers trying to park account for a third of traffic in peak times.
“We’re all guilty of circling block after block looking for a parking spot, and we’re excited to launch the ParkiFi app to take this unneeded stress out of daily life,” said Ryan Sullivan, CEO and co-founder of ParkiFi. “Our app will help reduce congestion and, as a result, improve the environment and support Denver’s ‘smart city’ initiatives. Our referral program is a great way to amplify this impact, while letting early adopters earn parking credits.”
To receive referral program credits the referred friends must also sign up for the program. When the app launches, all participants will receive summaries that indicate how many parking credits they have earned, and a link to download the app.

About ParkiFi:
ParkiFi is a Denver-based technology company founded in 2014 by Ryan Sullivan and Rishi Malik in response to a critical insight about downtown traffic. Approximately one out of three cars on the road in downtown Denver is actively looking for a parking spot. Finding that spot takes an average of fifteen minutes of avoidable driving. ParkiFi was created to take this stress out of people’s lives and reduce the environmental impact of driving. With the ParkiFi app, users simply input an address into the real-time parking map and the app’s parking spot finder directs them to open spaces in garages and lots. Metered street parking will be added in early 2017. The iOS and Android app will launch in downtown Denver in November 2016 and will roll out in other Denver neighborhoods and nationwide in 2017. ParkiFi was recognized as a 2016 “Denver Gazelles” company by the Denver Office of Economic Development. The company has raised $13.5 million in venture capital to-date.
