PARTNERS® Free for All Kitchen™ Gluten-Free Crackers and Brownie Thins Are Produced To Meet the Strict Requirements of the Gluten-Free Certification Program
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) June 26, 2015 -- The Gluten-Free Certification Program (GFCP) in partnership with the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness and Canadian Celiac Association is proud to announce that PARTNERS, A Tasteful Choice Company, has launched its first gluten-free line, Free for All Kitchen®. Produced to meet all assurances required to use the GFCP trademark on their product line and available across North America, the crackers carry the NFCA endorsed trademark in the United States and the CCA endorsed trademark in Canada.
“Since 1992, Marian Harris, founder and creative spirit of all PARTNERS products, has spent countless hours blending high quality ingredients to create delicious wholesome baked goods and the new gluten-free crackers and brownie thins are no exception” says said Cara Figgins, Vice President of PARTNERS and daughter of Marian. “Three years ago, Marian and the PARTNERS family recognized the importance of producing a gluten-free line and have been diligently working ever since. Why so long? It takes time to develop a delicious gluten-free alternative that doesn’t compromise on taste, nutrition, or quality. It's time to Free Your Taste Buds® and experience what gluten-free snacking can be, delicious for all your friends, family, and guests to enjoy.”
PARTNERS Free for All Kitchen crackers are available in 3 sizes and 3 flavors- Olive Oil & Herb, Roasted Garlic & Rosemary, and Olive Oil and Sea Salt and the Brownie Thins are available in 2 sizes and double chocolate. Unlike most gluten-free products, Free for All Kitchen products contain no corn, soy or rice, and are instead made with cassava flour and a blend of five ancient grains: amaranth, quinoa, millet, sorghum and teff. All Free for All Kitchen products are also non-GMO.
Paul Valder, President of the Allergen Control Group Inc. (ACG), the corporation that manages the GFCP states that “products displaying a GFCP trademark have been manufactured in a facility which successfully undergoes a robust, non-biased, annual third party audit. AIB International completed PARTNERS facility audit in Kent, Washington and verified their ability to routinely meet the stringent GFCP standard requirements for managing the production of gluten-free products in the bakery category”.
The Gluten-Free Certification Program is a voluntary program designed for manufacturers and brand owners committed to producing safe, reliable, gluten-free products. The program combines stringent, risk based gluten-free requirements with globally recognized food safety management systems which exceed government requirements in both the United States and Canada. Consumers can now shop with confidence across North American and know that the products they are purchasing meet the industry’s strictest gluten-free requirements when they see the GFCP trademark.
“We are very pleased to welcome PARTNERS Free for All Kitchen into the Gluten-Free Certification Program” says Jennifer North, Vice President of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness. “As an organization serving individuals with celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders we are always happy when consumers have more choices, greater assurance and an easier way to identify gluten-free products that are trusted and safe”.
