PATANEGRA Brings Spanish Flavor to Downtown St. Pete
St. Petersburg, FL (PRWEB) April 17, 2015 -- PATANEGRA Tapas Bar & Restaurant opened its doors to the public Monday, March 23rd, bringing Spanish icuisine and an eclectic atmosphere to Downtown St. Pete. PANTANEGRA offers a menu of Latin small plates and drinks with a contemporary vibe.
Owner Karim Benmansour got his start in the industry owning four Tapas restaurants in the South of Spain and explained: “I wanted to bring what I know and love to this area. Somewhere for people to enjoy socializing and appreciate their company over quality food, that’s what PANTANEGRA is.”
Dinner service begins at 5 p.m., with a complete menu of authentic Spanish small and large plates. Fresh seafood ceviche, beautifully curated meat and cheese plates, all come together for an unforgettable dining experience. Lunchtime fare of signature soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and tapas will be offered weekdays, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
PANTANEGRA will soon offer breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays, and weekend brunch beginning at 10:30 a.m. In addition to serving the bustling nightlife, PANTANEGRA’s breakfast and brunch options have locals like business owner Joe Hamilton talking.
“I’m probably most excited about breakfast. The options we have [downtown] now are good, but limited, so this will be a welcomed new way to start the day.”
Through a selection of handcrafted signature cocktails, including myriad Mojitos and Margarita variations, and a carefully selected wine list, PANTANEGRA makes it easy to get lost in conversation while looking over dining options. In true Spanish Tapas tradition, plates can be enjoyed by one or shared over a bottle of wine with friends.
