Path to Purchase Institute Launches its Designations Program for Shopper Marketing Professionals
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 16, 2016 -- Path to Purchase Institute, a global association serving the needs of brand manufacturers, retailers, agencies and solution providers, has launched a professional designation program under Path to Purchase Leadership University (P2PLU), it’s professional development and training curriculum.
P2PLU reached over 1,400 industry professionals in 2015 through its public and private training formats. This overwhelming commitment to professional development on the part of its members inspired P2PLU to create a Professional Industry Designation Program that will let participants showcase their learning achievements throughout the industry.
By participating in a sequence of core courses and passing related tests and assessments, members will earn an official designation that identifies the level of training they've achieved. Designation levels include:
P2P Practitioner: Demonstrates a solid understanding of the organizational discipline of shopper marketing and a working knowledge of shoppers, their behaviors and key principles to engage them.
P2P Professional: Indicates an advanced understanding of and ability to apply all core path-to-purchase competency areas defined by P2PLU, including shopper-centric thinking, shopper insights and strategic collaboration.
