Patient Experience Conference 2017 Dates and Call for Submissions Announced by The Beryl Institute
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 09, 2016 -- The Beryl Institute invites practitioners, researchers and patient and family advisors focused on improving the patient experience to submit proposals for presentations or poster sessions at next year’s Patient Experience Conference to be held March 20-22, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Denver in Denver, Colorado.
Submissions are due by July 29, 2016 and should emphasize case studies and proven practices related to patient experience initiatives and successes. For guidelines and to submit a proposal, visit http://www.theberylinstitute.org/?page=CONF2017SUBMISSION.
The Institute’s annual patient experience conference is designed for healthcare executives, leaders, staff and patient and family advisors responsible for improving and sharing the experiences of patients, families and caregivers. In addition to enjoying inspiring keynotes and networking with other patient experience leaders, participants have the opportunity to customize their learning experience by selecting from breakout sessions focused on different areas of patient experience improvement. The 2016 event held this past April in Dallas received excellent reviews from attendees:
- “This was my first time at the Patient Experience conference. PX2016 exceeded my expectations in every way. I networked with great people and hopefully built some lasting relationships and resources. I cannot wait for next year's conference and I am excited that it is in Denver,” said Heather Jensen, Regional West Medical Center.
- “For both the new patient experience leader and the seasoned professional, this conference is a valuable source of inspired learning,” said Linda Basra, St. Luke's Hospital.
- “The conference was wonderful. I thank you for the experience. I was so moved by the keynotes and was able to learn from the breakout sessions. I have taken back a lot of vendor information and have been able to connect with others in patient experience,” said Holli Smith, J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital.
- “Very educational and informative! I learned a lot during these sessions – great, passionate presenters,” said Matt White, Agnesian HealthCare.
- “Truly an amazing experience and so incredibly efficient/valuable! Thank you all so much for the wonderful experience. We are already counting down the days until next year!” Amanda Walker, Heritage Biologics.
- “The plenary speakers were exceptional. The fact that three of them utilized their stories as patients gave further credence to our need to heed the patient experience voice,” said David Carl, Carolinas Healthcare System.
