Patient Experience Journal Releases Spring 2017 Issue
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 26, 2017 -- The Beryl Institute announces the publication of Volume 4, Issue 1 of Patient Experience Journal (PXJ), an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal focused on research and proven practices around understanding and improving patient experience. PXJ has over 182,000 article downloads in over 190 countries and territories, and represents a global dialogue that is geographic and conceptual in nature. Reinforcing all voices matter in patient experience, the latest issue includes research from rural care settings and underserved populations through an exploration of co-design and caregiver perspectives.
Published in association with The Beryl Institute, Volume 4, Issue 1 includes 17 articles from 61 contributing authors with the launch of articles in the following sections:
• Research – using qualitative, quantitative, experimental, survey and innovative multi-methodological designs.
• Case Studies – describing specific and tangible application of practice.
• Personal Narratives – telling stories that showcase individual patients, providers or others who are leading the effort to employ patient experience practices.
• Book Reviews – commentaries on recently published journal articles, news reports, and books.
• Commentaries – personal perspectives and/or lived experiences and reviews of topics and events.
Authors represent organizations such as The George Washington University, Ko Awatea, National Cancer Institute, The Ohio State University Medical Center, Rush University, St. Mary's Research Centre, University of Calgary, University of Chicago, Waitemata District Health Board and others.
