Paul M. Lewis’ New Science Fiction Depicts Earth ‘After the Devastation’
LONG BEACH, Calif. (PRWEB) June 12, 2015 -- The year is 2024. The world is either fated to destruction by environmental disaster, or at the hands of mankind and their nuclear weapons. This is the world of Paul M. Lewis’ new science fiction novel, “After the Devastation” (published by Lulu).
Aden Delaterre, an environmental specialist, knows the world is on the brink of destruction. When his wife, Nora Del Bosque, is sent to the new headquarters of the United Nations in Chicago, he can’t help thinking something terrible will happen. His thoughts become reality when a global disaster rocks the earth, leaving Nora and Aden stranded on opposite ends of the country and without the ability to communicate.
In the years that follow, Aden and Nora each undergo an intuitive awakening, which allows them to become leaders in their respective societies. Furthermore, they both discover their spirit guides, which unlocks direction and guidance they didn’t know was possible. But even with their newfound abilities and society’s restructuring, they must overcome prejudices, political struggles and other societal ailments, not knowing if each other is even alive.
Lewis hopes his book will help readers see the turning point he believes the world is approaching, and that the choices they make affect their future.
