Paul McCartney Tickets on Sale Now for San Francisco’s Candlestick Park Concert
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) April 29, 2014 -- The 2014 Paul McCartney tour will be making a stop at Candlestick Park in San Francisco where the Beatles performed live for the last time in 1966. This time around it will be just McCartney performing hits from the Beatles, Wings and solo material in a 3 hour plus concert that’s sure to please fans attending the show. Paul McCartney tickets are on sale today at PreferredSeat.com for what’s expected to be a sold out concert.
The baby boomers will not be the only ones attending the Paul McCartney concert in Candlestick Park as evidenced by his recent concerts that have been attended by all age groups from the very young to the older crowd that sometimes need help getting to their seats. Fans that attended the final Beatles concert at Candlestick Park were lucky enough to pay about $6 a ticket back then and this time around tickets are priced as high as $2000 a ticket for the front row seats but there are cheaper seats scattered throughout the stadium's upper decks that sell for as low as $50 each.
Candlestick Park is scheduled to be demolished now that the San Francisco 49ers have built a new stadium in Santa Clara to replace the aging facility. It looks like that was postponed for the chance to host a final concert by Paul McCartney at the stadium and fans looking to purchase seats and other collector’s items from Candlestick Park will have to wait until after the 14th of August to lock in their piece of history.
The seating for the Paul McCartney concert will be all reserved and the best views will be from the field seats nearest the stage. Fans can still buy Paul McCartney tickets for the lower bowl at Candlestick Park and get a great view with an elevated view of the show. There will be big screens, fireworks and lasers along with 35 of some of the most popular songs ever written and performed by one of the best in the business.
Candlestick Park may not be the top choice for a Paul McCartney concert because of its age and lack of amenities but on this tour Paul has chosen to hit stops that are off the normal tour schedules like Fargo, North Dakota. And you never know, this may be the last time to see Paul McCartney perform in concert and a few bucket lists are sure to be updated this summer.
