He became an expert at whatever level he was at in terms of training and became an instructor at that level until he gained more skills, moving up the training ladder as he studied. Now the possessor of a certification from Microsoft as a trainer, additional certifications in CompTIA’s A+, Network+, Security+, Project+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, and Lync Technical Specialist allow him to offer a variety of classes at NetCom Learning. Currently, he is specializing in Microsoft courses such as Windows Server 2012, Active Directory, OCS/Lync Communications Technologies.
In the interview with Russell Sarder, Paul talks about how he has come to love teaching, and that he finds himself learning with each class. According to Silva it is a wonderful feeling knowing that you having a profound difference in people’s lives. He also discusses how much technology has changed in the virtual classroom, and how the improvements have made teaching live online classes just as interactive between teacher and students and between students as in traditional classroom settings.
