Paymentsense competes to become ‘Public’ Champion at the European Business Awards
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 20 November 2013 -- Paymentsense is pleased to announce that it is competing for the title of ‘National Public Champion’ in this year’s European Business Awards.
The company has already been named as a national contender for the UKTI Award for Innovation in the internally judged competition, but hopes to seal victory in the public voting category as well.
To win the part of the competition as voted for by the public, businesses have submitted a video entry that people can watch and vote for online.

The merchant service provider will now go up against the other UK national champions for the public vote. The company with the most votes will be named ‘National Public Champion’ for the United Kingdom on January 14th.
This first phase of the online voting is open until January 2nd, giving Paymentsense seven weeks to secure as many votes as possible.
George Karibian, co-founder of Paymentsense says: “We’re extremely proud to be selected as a National Champion and to represent the UK at such a prestigious event. Winning our award category outright would of course be an amazing professional achievement, but being named as the public’s champion would mean something personally to everyone at Paymentsense.”

The second public vote will take place between January 14th and March 25th and the result of this final round of voting is the selection of one overall ‘European Public Champion’ who will be announced and awarded at the Awards Gala event in May 2014.
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards said: “This year’s videos show some of the most successful and sustainable companies in Europe and we hope that anyone interested in business will take some time to watch the videos, either from their own country or from other countries, and then cast their vote.”
Separately the video entries from all 527 National Champions representing 31 countries across Europe will be reviewed and scored by the European Business Awards’ panel of judges and on 14 January 2014, the Chairman of Judges will announce the 100 Ruban d’Honneur recipients.
The overall European winners of the ten European Business Awards categories will be announced at the same time as the European Public Champion at the Gala Event in May.
