PDF3D Releases Microsoft OFFICE Enhancements with 3D Plugins
London, UK (PRWEB) September 09, 2016 -- PDF3D, the leaders behind interactive 3D PDF conversion software ReportGen, have today announced a new suite of plugins for Microsoft OFFICE users that enables the creation of powerful, interactive 3D documents from standard WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint files. Not only do the plugins allow the insertion of interactive 3D images into a slide, spreadsheet, report or brochure – they also aid in the redesign of the document using quick and easy layout controls.
“Normally Microsoft WORD® documents and PDF documents don’t mix and require different tools, which really slows down workflow and productivity. Most users are happy converting a WORD file into a PDF file but that’s as far as they go,” Explained Ian Curington of PDF3D. “People now want to communicate and share rich documents with interactive 3D, which is why our developers created these quick and easy new tools for people who regularly use OFFICE®.
The PDF3D® with OFFICE® suite of plugins for WORD, PowerPoint® and EXCEL® enables the user to place an interactive 3D image into any place they wish on their page. Once the placeholder for the image has been added, the user simply clicks a button to covert their OFFICE document into a 3D PDF. The final document looks exactly like the original created in OFFICE but now has a fully interactive 3D element that can be rotated, viewed, zoomed or even animated and played.
Whilst the plugins themselves aren't able to create the original 3D image (users will need a conversion tool such as ReportGen to do this), they do provide rich enhancements for documents created in OFFICE.
“The beauty of these plugins is that, by turning the WORD file, for example, into an interactive 3D PDF, the user and their recipients can view data and images at a much deeper level and enjoy a more immersive experience than ever before. They can also take advantage of ADOBE’s built-in mark-up and comment features within the PDF, which greatly aids project communications, design sign-offs, and project bids, “ added Ian.
Key features of the PDF3D with OFFICE plugins include:
- WORD/PowerPoint/EXCEL Plugins on Windows on Tool-bar Ribbon
- Intuitive operation is supported by two simple buttons - Add 3D View, and Export for 3D PDF
