Pearl Jam Tour Kicks Off and Rocks
(PRWEB) December 01, 2013 -- The first two shows of the North American Pearl Jam tour kicked off on November 24th and 26th, and they were, apparently, a blast.
The American rock band performed pieces from their new album, "Lightening Bolt" at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Saturday for a sold out arena. The band sang over 30 songs, while singer Eddie Vedder swung from lanterns and did legendary scissor jumps while playing the guitar, all while putting back a few. Guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready each had their own solos as the arena jammed along. It was the place to be in LA on that Saturday night.

After these five performances, Pearl Jam will be moving on to play in Australia and New Zealand in 2014.
Along with playing their own music, the rock band mixed in some covers too. At one point, band member Vedder was left alone on stage with just his guitar. He spoke about the late Lou Reed, then continued to pay tribute to the idol through song. He performed Reed’s "After Hours", along with "Breath", "Go", and "Porch".
Fans that enjoyed the first two shows would tell you that the group did not leave anything behind, and are called a "rock band" for a reason.
