Pearl Studios and Neptune Computer Ink Strategic Partnership to Design Wearable Computing Products

The deal brings together two strong players in the world of wearable technology. Neptune Computer’s flagship product, the Neptune Pine, generated considerable buzz in 2013 as the world’s first Android watch phone. Pearl Studios is an award winning brand and product consultancy, known for elegantly disruptive products, such as the Misfit SHINE, Singing Machine Home and 360Fly.

Neptune raised over $800,000 for the Pine via Kickstarter in December 2013, surpassing its $100,000 goal in just 27 hours. The company is now exploring the device’s enterprise applications.
