PediaPlex Celebrates First Day of Summer with Gypsy Scoops and Supports Texas Variety Grant
Southlake, TX (PRWEB) June 17, 2016 -- In celebration of the first day of summer, PediaPlex is kicking things off in style by hosting Gypsy Scoops, a mobile ice cream parlor. The traveling ice cream parlor will be set up in the PediaPlex parking lot on Tuesday, June 21, from 1-3 p.m. However, the event is about more than just having fun and enjoying a refreshing scoop of ice cream – it is also about giving back.
Tickets for the event are $2 and can be purchased at the front desk at PediaPlex. All proceeds will be donated to Variety the Children’s Charity of Texas, an amazing organization that supports children with special needs throughout Texas, and has touched the lives of many PediaPlex families. The generosity of this non-profit has provided financial assistance for families to afford medical procedures, services, and equipment, mobility equipment and mobile therapy, and special educational resources and equipment for their children with special needs. The cost of these services can quickly add up even with insurance and pose a challenge to families. Variety the Children’s Charity helps those in need, and support is not income based.

The Gypsy Scoops mobile ice cream parlor will be set up in the PediaPlex parking lot and have a variety of flavors for guests to choose from. Flavors may include Gypsy Bride, Mexican Vanilla, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Dreamsicle, Mango or Raspberry Sorbet, Wookiees Cookies, White Chocolate Raspberry, Butter Pecan, Peach, Strawberry, Cookies N Cream, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Both cups and cones will be available.
