Pediatric Critical Care of South Florida Continues Growth with Addition of Dr. Ryan Moran, Pediatric Intensivist
(PRWEB) February 23, 2014 -- Pediatric Critical Care of South Florida, (PCCSF), one of the premier providers of pediatric critical care in Florida, continues to grow its private medical group with the addition of Dr. Ryan Moran, a pediatric intensivist.
“Dr. Moran is a highly regarded member of the field of pediatric critical care and has already made significant contributions to our team,” stated Gerald Lavandosky, M.D., Managing Partner, Pediatric Critical Care of South Florida. “His experience is a welcome addition to our highly skilled, dedicated group of physicians.”
Dr. Moran earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He holds a Master of Public Health from Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Moran has received post-graduate training for Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatrics and is board certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Prior to Pediatric Critical Care of South Florida, Dr. Moran was an Assistant Professor at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. He is currently an Affiliate Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Moran is originally from Wisconsin and has lived in Florida for three years, his interests include diving, triathlons, and traveling. He has been actively involved in medical mission trips with the organization, Heart Care International.
Pediatric Critical Care of South Florida is a group of highly trained and board-certified pediatric intensivists who manage the pediatric intensive care unit at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida and at North Naples Hospital in Naples, Florida.
