Penn Avenue Eyewear Adds Water For People to Give Back Program
(PRWEB) October 27, 2014 -- Penn Avenue Eyewear is happy to announce the addition of Water for People to its Give Back program.
Announced in December 2013, the Give Back program allows customers to choose from a list of non-profit organizations at checkout and 10 percent of the total sale is donated to the chosen organization.
Water For People was founded in 1991 with the mission of bringing safe, continuous water to all people. The organization currently works in nine countries – Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Peru, Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda and India. Water For People works towards full-coverage water supply in the countries it works in and guarantees that it will monitor the water supply for 10 years to ensure that it is sustainable and that the community has the necessary capacity to repair and maintain the system.
As part of Penn Avenue Eyewear’s Give Back program, Water For People will receive 10 percent of all sales designated by customers with the code “WFP10” at checkout.
“Clean water is a basic human need that unfortunately not everyone has access to. Water for People saw this problem and chose to act on it," PAE Creative Director Caitlin Northup said. "We're happy to support an organization working so hard to make the world a better place for all.”
