• Get rid of junk by refusing to buy it in the first place. Self-discipline and deciding on a menu before going grocery shopping – not during or after – is key to achieving this fundamental healthy eating goal.
• Read the ingredients and be wary of labels like “natural” or “sugar free.” Many foods that appear to be healthy and nutritious are anything but.
