Perception Neuron Announces Winners of “Set Your World in Motion” Video Contest
(PRWEB) September 06, 2016 -- Noitom, the company behind Perception Neuron, the world’s most affordable and versatile motion capture system, is pleased to announce the winners of their “Set Your World in Motion with Perception Neuron” video contest. The contest, launched in June, asked contestants to submit a 3-5 minute video on an idea for how to use the Perception Neuron full-body and hands, IMU-based motion capture system. Contestants were asked to submit ideas for how to use the system within the realms of animation, film, science, sports, education and medicine.
Over 100 entrants from around the world participated in the contest which ultimately awarded 9 winners with prizes including up to two of Perception Neuron’s 32 Alum motion capture systems and $5,000 to fund their project. Open to contestants anywhere, the aim of the “Set Your World in Motion with Perception Neuron” video contest was to broaden the horizons for creativity in mocap.
Originally slated to award only 6 winners, the contest received so many entries that it was extended one more month and three more prizes were added. The total 9 winners included; three Grand Prize winners, three Judges Favorites, and three Second Prize winners.
Grand Prize winners will each receive two Perception Neuron 32 Alum Edition motion capture systems and $5,000 each. Three Judges Favorites will each receive two Perception Neuron 32 Alum motion capture systems, and three Second Prize winners will each receive one Perception Neuron 32-Neuron Alum Edition motion capture system.
The contest closed on July 15 and winners were announced in August. Noitom announced the names of the winners on the Perception Neuron website, neuronmocap.com, and on their Facebook and Twitter pages. The complete list of winners includes:
