Perfect Channel gains another £1m in investment to transform marketplaces
(PRWEB UK) 8 December 2015 -- Perfect Channel, a leader in marketplace transformation technology, has raised an additional £1 million from existing investor Beringea to support the preparation of two new products for launch in 2016. This extra investment follows 65% revenue growth in 2015.
Beringea’s investment will help Perfect Channel prepare two exciting new products for launch. Perfect Exchange, a marketplace trading platform, and Perfect Insight, a marketplace algorithm and business intelligence tool. Both will launch in 2016.
Perfect Channel’s technology offering enables enterprise organisations to realise the true value from their marketplace, by solving the problem of price optimisation for large B2B transactions. Perfect Channel’s cloud-based Exchange and Insight platforms have been designed to increase sales and optimise prices and in some cases improve the entire market value chain.
Perfect Channel also announced that Martin Botha, a former Managing Director at Standard Bank, has joined as an advisor to support Perfect Channel’s push into the metals commodity sector. Martin Botha is an investment banker and natural resources veteran, whose involvement is further validation of the strong fit between Perfect Channel’s technology offering and the physical commodities sector.

Mr Botha’s specific primary responsibilities have included establishing and leading the development of the core global natural resources trading and financing franchises, as well as various geographic strategies, including those in the Russian Commonwealth of Independent States, Turkey and Middle East. Mr Botha currently holds Non-executive director positions with Resolute Mining Ltd Zeta Resources Ltd, and Sberbank CIB (UK) Ltd, a securities broker regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority. Mr Botha graduated in Engineering (Survey) with first class honours from the University of Cape Town. Mr Botha is based in London.
