Perkins Eastman Announces Expansion of San Francisco Office To New Downtown Location
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- The executive committee of top international design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman is pleased to announce that the firm’s San Francisco, CA, office has moved to a new space at 100 Montgomery Street in the heart of the Financial District. The new office occupies the entire 23rd floor of the 25-floor tower—also known as the Equitable Life Building—which was designed by American architect William Peugh and completed in 1955.
The new space will bring together in one location the firm’s full San Francisco staff, which upon the merger with Lee, Burkhart, Liu (LBL Architects) at the beginning of 2015 brought the total employee count in San Francisco to 60 people. It also positions the firm for continued growth throughout the remainder of 2015 and into 2016.
Managing Principal Erich Burkhart FAIA says of the move, “We are excited to continue Perkins Eastman’s growth in the San Francisco area, and the move to a larger space will help to foster expanded capabilities and increased client value.”
Major projects underway in the San Francisco office include the Stanford University Medical Center Replacement, the new 824,000 sf facility designed in association with Rafael Viñoly Archiects; UCSF Medical Center Radiology Services; and Atria Foster City, a vibrant new mixed-use senior living development in the South Bay.
