Permian Plastics’ Sister Company Magenta LLC Earns Gold Award from In-Mold Decorating Association (IMDA)
O'Fallon, MO (PRWEB) January 21, 2014 -- Magenta LLC of Downers Grove, IL, a sister company of injection-molder Permian Plastics, was recently honored with a 2013 Gold Award from the In-Mold Decorating Association for the innovative use of IML (in-mold labeling) in their new “Classic”, all-purpose, travel beverage cup.
The award was bestowed in the “Best Injection Molded (IML) Package” division and recognized Magenta’s use of IML technology to actually fuse a custom, four-color image with the exterior cup material during the manufacturing process. The result is a cup image that far outlasts a screen printed image and will not peel, scratch off or degrade with repeated dishwashings. The IML technology is perfect for customizing high-quality, four-color images for novelty and promotional products. The environmentally-friendly, American-made “Classic cup” also features a proprietary, ultra leak-resistant lid design with fun flipper color options.
